Hullo all.
I bought a house. Holy shit, I bought a house!

All is going - ok - with me right now. Could be better, but most definietly could be worse, so I won't complain. I have registered for school for myself, got a part time job, Billy loves his new elementary, Alex starts his library program and Elizabeth is walking! She only turned 10 months yesterday. Little turkey, now I'm in for it.

Kenny has been seeing another woman for the past several weeks (the same one he'd been "friends" with for six months or so) and has arrived for a visit with the kids and has brought her. I'm torn about it, I want him to be happy with her if only because he essentially left us for her and I would hate to think it was all just for a fling. On the other hand, I wish them both boils and sores for the rest of their days. :) If nothing else, at least she has to deal with all of the bullshit and bad habits that I no longer have to ignore. They deserve each other.

And enough of that!

I miss you all, and when I am in my own house *whoohoo* on November 29, I will have both cable and my own computer so I will be able to be on here more frequently. (Mom looooves her poker stars - it's like pulling teeth to have an hour) It has been weeks, I cannot imagine how much that I have missed.

We've missed you too, Erica! I was getting a little worried when we hadn't heard from you in a while, but I'm so glad to know everything's going okay and that both you and the kids seem to be adjusting. Good luck with moving and life in general!

It's so great to hear from you and I'm glad for your good news. I bought my house... three years ago now and haven't regretted it at all.

My ex and I did make an agreement though, no new people introduced to our daughter's unless they had been around for several months. Mostly because we didn't want our child seeing a parade of SO's in and out the door.
and yes, boils sores would be lovely for them

You will get to celebrate Christmas (assuming you celebrate Christmas!) in your new house. That will be fun for the little ones.

Congratulations. And may your ex's underwear be forever too small and very itchy.

I'm so glad to hear from you! I was just wondering how you were doing the other day. Major congrats on the new house, and on Elizabeth walking -- so exciting! Looking forward to seeing you around again. *hugs*

Yay for a new house! I'm very happy to hear that you're going to school. That will help out loads in the future. I'm glad to know your children are adjusting well enough. Boo on the husband though (you know we'll always take your side of things ;D)

Hi sweetie! I'm so glad the spirit moved me to check IJ tonight (b/c I'm so rarely here) and that I got to read this update from you. *hugs*

I know the feeling of buying a house. Congrats. :)

(And I'm a new friend but I've been watching your art for quite some time and love them all. Especially your Charlie.)

Nice to see an update from you! The kids sound like they are doing great! Can't believe the baby is already walking! Seem like you just had her!

Yeah, the other woman bit makes me bristle. I'm so sorry. You sound like you are handling it with a lot of grace.

*hugs*
