My most recent posts to daily_deviant and hump_day_smut. That 30 in April art challenge cannot come at a better time, seems like the only art I post lately is for other communities! It's such a catch-22, I love the fact that there are prompts and deadlines, but it leaves me little time for my own sketches, especially since I have been getting more detailed in both anatomy and backgrounds.

The prompt for this one is "Castle". I soo wanted to try the Mermaid stained glass window, but got a little caught up in the fellows and left myself no room. S'ok though, cause they turned out loverly. :-)

I, personally, will have a good year this year, dammit. Although except for the whole husband leaving me and immediately moving in with his "just friend" and having to relocate with three kids, and having oldest child diagnosed with Autism (which isn't a bad thing - just a bit more stress) and completely starting a new life in a new city, my 2007 wasn't that bad.

If nothing else, 2008 cannot be any worse. Right? Right?


So to start the year right, I bought a puppy. I go pick up "Lucy" (Billy named her) on the 10th. She is a ten week old Golden Retriever and as soon as I have some pics, I'll be spamming. And you will all go "ooooohhhhhh".

I bought a house. Holy shit, I bought a house!

All is going - ok - with me right now. Could be better, but most definietly could be worse, so I won't complain. I have registered for school for myself, got a part time job, Billy loves his new elementary, Alex starts his library program and Elizabeth is walking! She only turned 10 months yesterday. Little turkey, now I'm in for it.

Kenny has been seeing another woman for the past several weeks (the same one he'd been "friends" with for six months or so) and has arrived for a visit with the kids and has brought her. I'm torn about it, I want him to be happy with her if only because he essentially left us for her and I would hate to think it was all just for a fling. On the other hand, I wish them both boils and sores for the rest of their days. :) If nothing else, at least she has to deal with all of the bullshit and bad habits that I no longer have to ignore. They deserve each other.

And enough of that!

I miss you all, and when I am in my own house *whoohoo* on November 29, I will have both cable and my own computer so I will be able to be on here more frequently. (Mom looooves her poker stars - it's like pulling teeth to have an hour) It has been weeks, I cannot imagine how much that I have missed.
